History

Founded in 1975 by Mr. Bourdic, a Guérande salt producer from father to son, the Bourdic company was born from the merger of several historic companies on the Guérande peninsula (Salinières de l'Ouest, Codisel, St Bourdic, etc.).

Our commercial activity began with sales of coarse sea salt to businesses in the South Brittany and Pays de la Loire regions. Later, the business expanded with the launch of the first dried and ground Guérande salt under the Le Paludier de Guérande brand.

Le Paludier de Guérande is always attentive to culinary trends and your needs, which is why we have expanded our range to include flavored salts and condiments from the sea.
